Why I Disappeared From Blogging (A Happy Reason!)

Updated in 2026: I originally wrote this post when I returned to blogging after getting married. Looking back, it still brings a smile to my face. I've refreshed it a little while preserving the memories exactly as they happened.

It's been a while, hasn't it?

If you've been following Scenario of Life for some time, you probably noticed that I suddenly disappeared for a few weeks. If you're new here, welcome! I'm so happy you found this little corner of the internet.  :-)

Well, I am happy to report that I am finally back after a few crazy weeks of blogging hiatus.  I have never gone that long without writing and it was not even conscious decision as such, it just happened.  I had so many things going on that I did not have time to squeeze it all in.  The past few weeks have been a serious whirlwind and have been huge transitions for me.

On that note, I have something very exciting to share with you all which some of you might know about.  My last few weeks were super busy as I was planning my engagement, wedding, pre-wedding and post-wedding shoots, honeymoon while juggling the usual tasks that life throws at us.

A moment I'll cherish forever

Oh yes, you read that right - "I got married" to the love of my life after being in a relationship for seven wonderful years. It was one of the happiest days of my life. Standing there, surrounded by our families, I couldn't help but think about how quickly those seven years had passed. I was nervous and excited at the same time, and it was one of those rare moments when life feels beautifully overwhelming in the best possible way.

Since my husband and I come from two different religions, we celebrated our wedding following both traditions. Here in India, every religion has its own beautiful customs and ceremonies, and weddings are often multi-day celebrations. We were fortunate to experience five memorable days of wedding festivities, including the main wedding ceremony—memories that I will cherish forever.

Like many interfaith weddings, there were naturally questions, different traditions to respect, and plenty of planning. There were moments of uncertainty about how everything would come together, but thankfully, the entire celebration turned out to be drama-free, beautiful, and filled with love. Both families embraced the occasion with warmth and respect, making it a truly special experience. Looking back, I'm grateful that our wedding became a beautiful blend of two cultures rather than a point of division. Surrounded by our family and close friends, we celebrated one of the most memorable days of our lives, a feeling I will always treasure.

As you can probably imagine, blogging had to take a little pause while I was planning everything and thus I just couldn’t give my blog the attention that it deserved.  But this doesn't mean I have not missed all this; I have missed blogging so much and I have missed all of you loving people too.  And now I am jumping back in the blogging saddle with the energy to keep creating and I am so excited for all of the future content I am going to post.

Oh yeah, did I mention that our photographer took 4,500 photos (literally)? which is indeed a huge number and of course, I couldn't possibly share all photos here! But I've picked a few of my favorites to give you a glimpse into one of the happiest chapters of my life. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed living those moments. ❤️

Looking back today, I realize that life sometimes asks us to pause one dream so we can fully embrace another. Blogging had to wait for a little while, and I'm glad it did, because those moments with family and loved ones became memories I'll cherish forever. Now, I'm excited to return here with a heart full of stories and a fresh perspective.
