My Papa - My Inspiration!

Almost everyone has a role model in their life.  They could be your parent, friend, writer, actor, sports person, or maybe an influencer.  Anyone at some point in time may inspire us depending on their unique qualities.

A role model can be different for everyone and for me it’s my papa (dad) or I would rather say, my parents.  "They never told me or my siblings how to live in every situation; in fact, they lived and let us watch them doing it."  They had to make sacrifices while we were growing up.  They have done so much for us that I can’t even pen-down all the things over here.  I will really run out of words to pen my feelings of love and respect that I have for my parents.

I can’t even thank them enough and no one can either for what parents do and did for us, but still, I would like to take the opportunity to thank them.  I would like to thank them for not only giving me this beautiful life but for making it worth living; for not only giving me love but making it unconditional.  There are no words in the universe that could describe their selfless love and care.  I will always be grateful for hammering those ethics, morals, values, mannerisms, and principles that they have given me.  These are the important lifetime lessons that have shaped my life in its entirety.

I attribute much of who I am as a person to my parents.

My Papa (dad) is personally a writer and I give him credit for instilling the same spirit of writing in me.  He has been writing for his whole life.  He has composed countless articles, edited numerous books, and translated a number of books so far. He used to write “ghazals” (an Arabic poetry) too.  The prejudication in the world, the battle people are fighting within their soul, and the thoughts and emotions of his own are the things that make his pen writes words full of wonders.

He has always been my source of inspiration when it comes to writing and of course for everything I do in life.  He is always been there for me through thick and thin.  He has been my idol so everything that you see in my writing, it’s all because of him.  He is the sole reason that I can call myself a blogger today.  His acceptance of my writing skills was a sign for me that I was doing something good, that I was on the right path and things have been going well with my blog now.

My papa (dad) always says that “if you can read and learn then you can become anything you want to” and “you can’t do anything if you fear the failure.”  He always encourages me and has taught me that with enough determination in what you do; you can definitely create something out of nothing.  My papa's never-give-up attitude has always stayed with me.  Every one of us has the power within us to overcome adversity and come out stronger on the other side.

Just like a floret would never bloom without the elements that surround it, I would never have grown like this without you, Papa.  I may not always express my love for you, but I do love you and you mean so much to me.  And, I am really sorry for the times I have hurt you and taken you for granted, I really am.  But hopefully, I can make up for it.

On this Father’s Day, I would like to give a tribute to all the fathers out there, especially mine by sharing one of his small written piece of work which is in Hindi. ❤

If this article reminds you of someone who quietly shaped your life, don't wait for a special occasion. Tell them today.

Let me know how you like the “ghazal?”  What’s your dad model for you? What did he teach you? How has he impacted you?  I would love to hear your inputs.

Wishing all the Dads a very special Father's Day.

“And This Is How I Got Inspired To Write”

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to “Scenario of Life.”

I am a Medical Language Specialist or you can say a Healthcare Documentation Editor by profession and a newbie here in the “World of Blogging.”  My name is Preeti Gaur and I am a person who is extrovert, but also shy at times, a person who wants to see the world in her own way, who thinks of herself as creative, who is a nature lover, who believes in “Live and Let Live.”

Besides that, I am a beauty enthusiast and I like to read, decorate, talk, write, being photographed, and many more things.

My Papa (Dad) is in Journalism (Newspaper Writing), so I grew up seeing him writing, creating his articles, editing the books etc.  It’s like seeing his voice on the page, and me reading his stuffs.  Back then, as a teenager, I always used to think that writing is not everyone’s cup of tea.  But there came a point when, one day, Papa showed me his diary of “ghazals” and I don’t know what that was, but there was something that ignited a spark in me to write something, he affected me deeply in terms of writing and there it all has started.  I wrote my first poem in my mother tongue i.e. Hindi when I was in the middle of my 11th grade and I realized that writing is nothing, but a personal expression of self.  To be honest, though I have been writing poetry (not regularly) since long, I have never thought about sharing my thoughts on this platform called “Blog.”

A few months back, I was just having a conversation with my Papa.

“Why don’t you give a blog a try?”  He asked.

“What? Blog…Really.?,”  I questioned.

“Yeah, when you can write poetry, you can write a blog too, or at least you can just give it a try.”  He said.

“Okay, I'll think about it,”  I said with a confusing smile.

So, after that, I have given a second thought about writing a blog, searched about it, fished around some of the sites, and even read my Papa’s articles (he writes as a guest writer in Hindi blogs) and again it was “He” who has “inspired” me for blogging.  And see “I am here now.” :-)

As I am eventually here, I would like to say that I am not here just to give it a go, I am here to do something with it.  I am here to share my thoughts, my opinions, and I am really very excited.

They say, 'If you've got it, flaunt it!' And that's what exactly I am going to do.

Furthermore, to get you people an idea, this is a personal blog and it will consist of everything that I wish to write about; like health, nutrition, experiences, relationship, family, all things beauty such as product reviews on makeup, skincare, and occasional hair/body care products apart from that beauty tips, makeup, hacks and tips, recipes, DIYs, about me, in short, you can say this blog will speak for me.

Hope you enjoyed reading this.

Stay Blessed, Be Happy..!! :-)
