"Face the Life and Make the Difference"

Hey Everyone,

Hope you all are doing well.
Unfortunately because of some personal reasons I am unable to create my own content this time, but yeah I didn't wanted to skip my day of sharing an article and leave you too long without any content.  So here I am, with something for you to read.  This is not written by me, (sadly, I can't take credit for this).  I received an email earlier, like about 3-4 years back which contained this story.  The reason why I am posting this article here is because even though this article was written a few years ago, it is still very relevant and motivational too; and this is something that I feel is worth sharing.  I have no idea who the author is.  If anyone knows the original source to it, please let me know, so I can link this.  I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did.

One day all the employees reached the office and they saw a big advice on the door on which it was written:

"Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away.  We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym".

In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who that person would be, who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself.

The excitement in the gym was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room.  The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up.

Everyone thought:  "Who is this guy who was hindering my progress?  Well, at least he died!"

One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside it they suddenly became speechless.  They stood nearby the coffin, shocked and in silence as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul.  There was a mirror inside the coffin, everyone who looked inside it could see himself.

There was also a sign next to the mirror that said:

"There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth:  It is YOU.  You are the only person who can revolutionize your life.  You are the only person who can influence your happiness, your realization, and your success.  You are the only person who can help yourself."

Your life does not change when your boss change, when your friends change, when your parents change, when your partner changes, when your company changes.  Your life changes, when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life.

The most important relationship you can have is the one you have with yourself.
"If an egg is broken from outside force, life ends.  But if it is broken from inside force, life begins.  Great things always begin from inside"
Examine yourself, watch yourself.  Don't be afraid of difficulties, impossibilities, and losses.  Be a winner, build yourself and your reality.

Moral:  The world is like a mirror:  It gives back to anyone the reflection of the thoughts in which one has strongly believed.  The world and your reality are like mirrors lying in a coffin, which shows any individual the death of his divine capability to imagine and create his happiness and his success.

It's the way you face Life that makes the difference!

Blogger Recognition Award 2017 – My Second Award Nomination!

Hey Everyone,

"It's my time to shine."  You may think what made me say so?

Well, I am super excited to announce that Scenario of Life has been nominated for the "Blogger Recognition Award."  It's not even been a month that I have launched this blog and I am getting fascinating surprises one after another.  Yeah! You heard it right.  In the very first week when I started blogging I received two nominations for "The Liebster Award" and it's the fourth week now and I am again nominated.  And this time it is the "Blogger Recognition Award."  Wow!  I am overwhelmed. :-)

As a newbie, it's really encouraging and it feels so great that not only my family and friends but also there are people worldwide who like to read this blog.  I am glad and would like to thank everyone for taking time out and reading my write up.  And when it's come to the blogging community, one thing I have noticed being a part of it is that it's incredibly supportive and this is one of the reasons I love being part of the blogging community and meeting people who share similar passions.

My blog, Scenario of Life, has been nominated by Mallami Adekunle at Lamlaminkings.  He stated, “I see how dedicated you are into blogging as well as sharing your experiences to the world; so you are well deserving of this recognition.”  Well, I am grateful for his kind words, this really means a lot.  My sincere and heartfelt thanks to Mallami for recognizing my work.  I am delighted. :-)

Mallami Adekunle is a pharmacology graduated and at his blog, he shares his experiences either through poetry or articles.  He loves writing poems, short stories and articles about life, social media, blogging and the happenings of his environment.  You can visit his blog here.

What is blogger recognition award?

Blogger Recognition Award is given to bloggers by bloggers to encourage and acknowledge the hard work and effort that goes into creating posts.  It’s an opportunity for bloggers to recognize one another for each of our contributions to the blogosphere.

Don't  forget  to  subscribe; Scenario  of  Life is recognized!

How my blog started?

It's just that I got inspired by my dad and end up starting my blog.  Want to know the story behind it ? Please click here to read more.

Two pieces of advice for newbies:

Personally being a new blogger all I can advise is the following:

  • Don’t compare yourself to any other blogger out there, everyone has their own writing style, so just stick to your personality and write in that way only.  And yeah one can't be a star overnight so just be patience, “Success does not come easily,” even if it looks that way; it takes time and a lot of hard work too.
  • Be consistent towards the blog and have a designated day or days to post on your blog; that way people can know what day you will be posting next.  And get social as much as you can and of course promote your blog.

My Nominees:

I must admit it was not easy coming with the nominees, but finally, here it is:

Courtney Vanover at BackpackingRuffian
Lauren Najar (lsknersk) at Laugh Always
Ariel Huffaker at Different Frame of Mind
Arrey Bate at ARREY-B
Shamira Solana at Bebe Shamo
Naomi Djese at Naomi Djese
Dawnmarie Uebele Grack at Enjoying the Days
Morgan Isabella Shaw at Brains & Bodies
Princy Khurana at Sublime Messages

Gina Bambinelli at Jet Set And Forget
Pauline Harley at challengeuchangeu
Kaibiganko Gayyemko at Gayyemko
Rajat Gaur at Gamer’s World
Sonam Sahid at Small Wonders of World

When you are nominated, there are few simple steps that you need to take to accept the award nomination and the guidelines are as follows:
  • Write a post to show your award.
  • Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  • Give a brief story of how your blog started.
  • Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
  • Select 15 other bloggers to nominate.
  • Comment on each blog and let them know you have nominated them and provide the link to the post you created.

Congratulations to all my nominees, keep up the good work.  Once again many thanks to Mallami for recognizing my work and nominating Scenario of Life, I greatly appreciate it.

Fellow bloggers:  Have you been nominated for the award?  If so, leave me a link to your post! I’d love to read about it.
If you haven’t been nominated yet, what do you think of the award?  Let me know your comment.

Happy blogging for all the bloggers over there.!!

Activated Charcoal - A Boon!

Hello Everyone,

Did you know that activated charcoal can be applied over our skin for its beauty benefits and it has health benefits too?

What..?? You said "No"?

Well, well, well……Then you are on the right place because today we are going to discuss about this only.  Yes! There are numerous health and beauty benefits of activated charcoal.  Before proceeding further with its benefits, let’s discuss what Activated charcoal is!

Activated charcoal, also known as activated carbon, is made from a regular carbon which is heated and further highly processed to enhance its natural ability to adsorb and is presumably the most powerful adsorbent known to man.  It is made from a variety of sources such as wood, coconut shells, coal etc. Activated charcoal is a fine black powder that is odorless, tasteless, and nontoxic.

Activated charcoal has been used in hospitals as a treatment for acute poisonings for years; it is used as a “Universal Antidote.”  Some Emergency Rooms dispense bulky doses of activated charcoal for certain types of poisoning or drug overdoses, as chemicals (mostly organic) that have been ingested will stick to it and then it will be pulled out from the body.

One thing to keep in mind is that activated charcoal is not a typical charcoal used in your barbecue grill! Barbecue charcoal is full of toxins and chemicals; activated charcoal is not!  So, please do not use Barbecue charcoal and be very selective while purchasing any activated charcoal.

Activated charcoal comes in capsules and powder form, and it depends on you what you want to use.  If you ask me the difference between them, so let me tell you that there is no major difference.  The primary difference between activated charcoal powder and activated charcoal capsules is the “price.”  Activated charcoal powder is cheaper than the activated charcoal capsules. So it’s totally up to you if you want to go with capsules or powder.  I am using “Healthvit Activated Charcoal Powder” and its cost is 350/- (INR) for 250 gram.

Activated charcoal is a natural supplement and has a number of health and beauty benefits.  So here is the list, just read on and find out.

1.  Water Purification:  Have you ever noticed those tiny black particles that are used in water filters?  Yeah, that is nothing, but an Activated charcoal.  The superior adsorption qualities of activated charcoal tend to make it in-demand for water filters.  When the water passes through the charcoal filter, the impurities are trapped in the charcoal’s deep pores to give you filtered water.  It is also found in air filters for purification.  You can say that it is one of best purifiers out there.

2.  Reduces Bloating/Gas:  There were studies that conducted to determine the benefits of activated charcoal in treating abdominal bloating, but the effectiveness is not yet clear.  However, one of the studies that were published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology revealed that activated charcoal reduces abdominal cramps and symptoms of bloating.  And it was also stated that the selective use of activated charcoal may be helpful.

3.  Whiten your Teeth:  I would say that it’s an ancient Indian practice to use charcoal for brushing your teeth.  Activated charcoal can help to a great extent to whiten your teeth while enhancing good oral health by balancing the pH level in your mouth, thus helping to prevent things that cause cavities, bad breath, and gum diseases.  But, make sure not to use it excessively because it will wear away the enamel layer of teeth which then lead to sensitivity and loss of tooth structure.  Apart from that, it’s completely safe, inexpensive and natural substitute that will give you whiter smile just in few weeks.  Even toothpaste companies are adding activated charcoal to their products, one of such brand is “Colgate.”  So if you don’t want to make yourself a grill ;-) with this charcoal powder, then you can opt for toothpaste too that contains activated charcoal in it.

  DIY Recipe:
  • Take toothpaste on the toothbrush.  Dip this into activated charcoal powder or sprinkle some charcoal powder onto the toothpaste and brush your teeth as usual.  Rinse well.  For best results, follow these steps two-three times per week.

4.  Improves Skin:  Activated charcoal has detoxification properties so it helps to pulls out all the impurities from your skin, giving you a flawless complexion.  The beauty market is flooded with lots of beauty and makeup products, wherein charcoal is the main ingredient.  The benefits you can get from adding a charcoal mask in your skincare routine are rid of blackheads, whiteheads, acne, rashes, and scars and even it delays the signs of aging.  Activated charcoal is great for acne-prone skin.  It helps in unclogging the pores, uneven skin pigmentation and lightening armpits as well.  An activated charcoal face mask will leave your skin feeling clean and refreshed.  It can also be used as eyeliner.  The best part is that it is suitable to all types of skin.  No breakouts at all.  I myself am using this for months and I am loving it. :-)

  DIY Recipes:
  • Mix a teaspoon of activated charcoal powder, a teaspoon of Fuller’s Earth (Multani mitti), few drops of raw honey along with essential oil (optional) and a required amount of water to make a paste. Apply it all over the face, leave it for 15-20 minutes, let it dry and then wash it off.  Moisturize and enjoy your fresh skin! :-)
  • Mix a teaspoon of charcoal with a tablespoon of honey/lemon juice/Aloe Vera juice.  Then apply the prepared mask all over your face.  Keep it on for about 10-15 minutes and then rinse well.  Don't forget to moisturize.
[You can use the same mask to lighten your armpits too.  Mix a teaspoon of charcoal with a tablespoon of a honey well.  Clean and dry your armpits.  Apply the paste and leave it on for 20 minutes.  Later, rinse it off. Do this as often as you can to get the best results!]

From skin care to detox, teeth whitening and beyond, "Activated Charcoal is a "Star Player."  Activated charcoal is a fine black powder, making it extremely messy.  But, trust me, it’s worth it.  Activated charcoal does not produce results immediately, but it works over time.

Disclaimer:  As with any skin care regimen, always do a patch test first to see if your skin is allergic to any of the ingredients. Everyone's skin is different so results can vary from person to person.  Please discontinue use if your skin does not react well to the regimen.

Have you used activated charcoal before?  How you use it? What has been your experience? Let me know in the comment section below.

Stay Blessed, Be Happy..!! :-)

MY FIRST BLOGGING AWARD - The Liebster Award 2017

Hello Everyone,

I am so happy to share this wonderful moment with you all.  The great bloggers from far away, Australia and Pakistan, bumped into my blog, found it as latent and nominated it.  I have not had this blog for very long.  I launched “Scenario of Life” just 10 days ago and was fortunate enough to be nominated for The Liebster Award two times in a week.  Delighted!  Huge thanks to “team Patroni” and Mukarram Ali Qureshi for nominating me.  These are my very first nomination, so I really appreciate it.

John and Renee’s kind words:  Preeti, you deserved it.  Your blog looks great & has great potential.  This means a lot, John and Renee, for a newbie like me and I am so flattered.

Monsoon, Rains and Enjoyment...

Hey Everyone,

I am back with my next post; hope you all are doing well. :-)

First of all, I want to thank you all for showing so much love and appreciation for my first blog post.

This is my second post or you can say “the first post after the introductory one” and as we are in the middle of the monsoon season now so I just thought to start my blogging experience by talking about it.

For many, it’s a season of love, but for me, it’s the season I love.  It’s one of the best seasons out of the four to me.  Of course, I am not denying the other seasons are not good, every season has their own specialties and I like them too, but there’s something about the rain that made me fall in love with it.  We all know that when it comes, it brings annoying things too; like humidity, jams on road, muddy water etc…but then there are always pros and cons of almost everything around us and so as the rain.   So, why to talk about the negative side of this when we can talk about the positive one, isn't it..!!  As they say, “You can see the glass half full or half empty." So here I am only going to talk about the things that I really adore about this season.

Monsoon is pleasing.  It cools everything down.  It has the power to add beauty to nature, leaving freshness in the air, making grass look greener, giving plants a fresh look.  Everything around is bright, alive, and beautiful.  Nature really shines with the rains.

Is anyone out there who doesn't like to get soaked in the rain.???  I guess most of the people will tend to say “No”, as its one of the nicest way to experience the soothing feeling and everyone enjoys it so as I.  I just love the idea of getting drenched in the rain and dancing in it, believe me, you are never too old to do this.  Next thing that I absolutely adore about this season is the smell of the moisten earth after the rains.  It makes me crave for it; I wish I could eat that, like literally. :-P

There’s so much more:

I like the sound of rainwater hitting through the drains on streets, tiny droplets on the window glass; the sound is itself musical.  And when it comes to music, Rainy season and music have a timeless bond.  Some songs are simply meant for Monsoon and I know you must be agreeing with me.

An enjoyable thing to do is having evening walks, long drives, doing photography, and an immense pleasure is watching the peacock with open feathers.  Another best part of this season is having a bite of samosas, pakodas or corns, a cup of coffee (a lot of people like hot tea though I would prefer coffee over a tea) – Monsoon really has its own great joys.

There’s something about the weather that calls to your philosophical side and you become reflective.  Isn't it really so..??

By the way, when we talk about the rain, how can we skip talking about everyone’s favorite, a multicolored arc “A Rainbow”..!!  I like to catch sight of a rainbow.  It always brings a smile and happiness to every face.  Like a prism, it passes through every heart.  It’s just a beautiful magic of nature.

Last but not least, it’s the season of "Romance."  I do find the rains very romantic, everything looks so beautiful.

If monsoon is your favorite season too, let me know in the comment section below what you love the most about your favorite season - “Monsoon."

Keep enjoying the rains.

Stay Blessed, Be Happy..!! :-)
