How I Stay Motivated When Life Feels Overwhelming

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are doing great.

Let’s be honest — life can feel like a lot sometimes.

Between the never-ending to-do lists, the dips in energy, and the mental clutter that creeps in, staying motivated isn’t always easy. As a mom of two (a curious 5-year-old and a playful toddler), a makeup artist, a dietician, a content creator, and someone who truly values meaningful work — I’ve had more than a few days where motivation felt completely out of reach.

But I’ve also learned something important:

Motivation isn’t a constant spark — it’s something we gently nurture, refill, and rediscover over time. And in this post, I want to share what’s helped me keep going, stay grounded, and move forward — especially on the hard days.

A Quick Life Update:

A lot has changed over the past few years.

I’m now a proud mom of two beautiful children — a bright, curious 5-year-old daughter and a bubbly, energetic 1-year-old son who keeps me on my toes (and keeps my coffee cup full!). Balancing motherhood with personal dreams hasn’t always been smooth — but it’s been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.

And while my days look very different now than they did five years ago, one thing hasn’t changed: my passion for sharing honestly, creating meaningful content, and helping people feel seen and supported.

1. I Accepted That I Can’t Do It All — And That’s Okay

One of the biggest mindset shifts I’ve made is letting go of perfection.

I used to push myself to be everywhere, do everything, and check every box — and honestly, it was exhausting. Some days I’m organized, productive, and totally in sync. Other days, I’m just getting through the basics. And both versions of me are valid.

Instead of chasing the ideal, I now aim for progress over pressure. Even if I tick off just one task — that’s still movement. That’s still enough.

2. I Reconnect With My “Why”

Whenever I feel overwhelmed or disconnected, I pause and ask myself:

  • Why did I become a makeup artist?
  • Why do I write poetry?
  • Why did I start this blog?
  • Why did I start creating content and sharing online?
  • Why did I come back to blogging after all these years?

The answer always brings me home:

  • Because I want to create beauty — both through words and through art.
  • Because poetry helps me express what’s often unspoken.
  • Because I want to help people feel stronger, healthier, and less alone.
  • Because I believe in showing the real — the routines, the setbacks, the wins.
  • Because I want to show my children that you can live with passion and purpose — even when life is hard.

3. I Rekindled My Creativity — And It Changed Everything

During my time away from blogging, I didn’t just pause — I pivoted.

I leaned into my creative side and began expressing myself in new (and exciting!) ways.

Over the past few years, I’ve:

  • Enhanced my makeup skills through training and endless practice.

  • Taken bridal and party makeup orders.

  • Became a published author as a contributor in an anthology.

  • Compiled and curated an entire book as an editor.

  • Walked the ramp as a model in fashion shows.

  • Won the title of Mrs. Maharashtra Runner-Up.

These experiences reminded me that I’m not just one thing — I’m a creator, an artist, a writer, a woman of many passions.

And while it’s not always easy to juggle it all, doing what lights me up makes me feel more alive. That energy flows into everything else — parenting, work, self-worth — and it’s helped me stay deeply connected to who I really am.

4. I Lean On My Support System

Behind every overwhelmed mom is someone quietly holding her up — and for me, that’s my husband.

His support has been one of the biggest blessings during this wild, beautiful, chaotic season. Whether it’s helping with the kids, cheering me on through my career shifts, or just being there to listen after a long day — he’s been my rock.

Having that kind of emotional anchor reminds me that I’m not doing this alone. And honestly, that makes all the difference.

5. I Use Small Rituals to Reset

Motivation doesn’t always come from big wins or bold moves.

Sometimes, it’s found in the tiny, everyday rituals that ground me:

  • Writing in my journal.
  • Reading a good book.
  • Listening to music while cooking.
  • Sipping a warm cup of coffee.
  • Putting on a bit of lipstick — just for me.
  • Listening to the sound of rain.

.These moments may seem small, but they bring me back to myself. They remind me that I matter too.

6. I Write to Empower — Myself and Others

Writing has always been my safe space.

Through content, poem, captions, and blog posts like this one, I’ve found a way to reconnect with myself and connect with others. I’ve written about:

And every time someone messages me saying, “I needed this today,” I feel that inner spark reignites. That’s what keeps me coming back to this space — the reminder that words can heal, uplift, and empower.

Final Thoughts

If you’re in a season where motivation feels far away — please know this:

You are not alone!

Life will always have its messy, exhausting moments. But even in the chaos, you can still carve out space for rest, creativity, growth, and joy.

You don’t have to do it all.

You just have to do what feels right — one moment, one step, one breath at a time.

Let’s chat:

What helps you stay motivated when life feels heavy? I’d love to hear from you in the comments. 💬✨

From Pause to Purpose: Returning to This Space after 5 Years

Hello Everyone — it’s been a while!

If you've been following Scenario of Life for some time, you probably noticed that this little corner of the internet went quiet for much longer than I ever imagined. And if you're new here, welcome to my space! I am so happy you found your way here.

Life took over (as it often does), and somewhere between motherhood [oh yes, I became a mom to two amazing little humans — a girl and a boy. 👧👦], evolving routines, shifting priorities, and simply embracing a new season of life, this space quietly faded into the background. But today, I'm writing with a full heart because I am back.

It feels surreal to be back here, typing away on my blog after so many years. Life has been a whirlwind — full of beautiful changes, challenges, growth, and a fair bit of chaos (the good kind 😅).

And somewhere along the way, I realized that although life had changed, my love for writing never really disappeared, it was simply waiting for the right season to return.

This blog has always been my little corner of the internet—a place to share real stories, honest beauty reviews, and the wellness tips I truly believe in. And now, after a five-year break, I am ready to reconnect with all of it — and with you.

Why I took a break:

To put it simply: life happened, it just happened.

Sometimes we don't consciously walk away from something we love—life quietly asks us to pause for a while. That's exactly what happened to me.

When I started this blog, I had so much to share. But then I got married and then came the beautiful (and exhausting) journey of motherhood — and suddenly, my energy was completely elsewhere. I didn’t stop loving writing, I just didn’t have the mental or emotional space to keep up with it.

At the same time, I was growing — as a mom, as a woman, and as a professional. I found the rhythm between nurturing little ones and nurturing my aspirations. For a long time, I believed I had to choose between being present for my family and pursuing my own dreams. Slowly, I realized I could do both, just not all at once. I focused on my career as a Makeup Artist, built meaningful connections offline, and spent time understanding what truly matters to me. And honestly, that pause taught me so much.

What's Changed (And What Hasn't):

These past few years brought growth in so many ways — and here’s a little glimpse into what’s been happening behind the scenes:

  • I became a more confident mom... although some days still feel beautifully chaotic.
  • I explored makeup artistry and modelling — not just as hobbies, but through a professional lens.
  • I even had the honor of being crowned Mrs. Maharashtra Runner-Up (State Title) — a moment I’ll always cherish.
  • I became a published author when my poetry book was officially released—a dream that once felt so far away.
  • I grew passionate about writing on empowerment and motivation — sharing thoughts that lift, inspire, and encourage women to own their journey, imperfections and all.
  • My skincare routine got simpler — but better.
  • I found joy in small self-care rituals that ground me.
  • I explored wellness, nutrition, and what it truly means to take care of myself.
  • And most importantly, I rediscovered just how much I missed blogging — this creative space that’s always felt like home.

What hasn’t changed?

My love for sharing things that make life easier, warmer, and more meaningful.

Why I am Back (And What You Can Expect):

Truthfully, I’ve felt the pull to return to this space for a while. Social media has been fun, but blogging feels deeper — more personal, more me. It’s where I can write freely, connect honestly, and hopefully create content that helps, uplifts, or simply relates to someone else.

So what can you expect here going forward?

💄 Real beauty reviews and routines that fit into mom life.

👩‍👧‍👦Relatable parenting moments — the good, the tough, and the hilarious.

🧘‍♀️ Lifestyle tips for simple, cozy living.

🥗 Nutrition and wellness content from a dietician’s perspective.

📝 Personal reflections on life, growth, and everyday moments that matter.

In other words, this space will now be a blend of beauty, motherhood, wellness, motivation, personal growth, and everything in between

So if you're into honest stories, practical tips, and a little glam with a whole lot of heart — you're in the right place.

Whether it’s a 10-minute self-care ritual, a nourishing snack idea, or a messy parenting win — I want this space to feel real, helpful, and comforting.

Let's Reconnect

If you are reading this — thank you. Truly, your time, presence, and support means everything. Whether you’ve followed me from the start or just landed here today, I am so glad you are here.

I’d love to hear from you in the comments:

What kind of posts would you love to read? Or just say hello-hi — I’d love to know who’s still with me after all this time.

Thank you for waiting. And if you're finding Scenario of Life for the very first time, I hope you'll stay awhile.

Here’s to fresh starts, cozy routines, and sharing life as it comes.

See you in the next post!

Little Things that Matter Most in Life

Guest post by Deeksha Tripathi

Life is a gift of God to all of us. Whatever be its challenges, we have to face them all. Life is not the same always. Happiness and sadness are inseparable parts of life. Nobody has got a perfect life. Everyone faces ups and downs. Now, what’s important here is how we take things that come in our life every day.  Big things whether good or bad don’t happen every day. So life is basically made up of "Little Things". These little things matter most for our general happiness.

So, let’s take a look at some of the little things which matter most in our life.

Be Thankful to God

The first thing that is of utmost importance is being thankful for everything we have got in our life. If we are getting food to eat every day, clothes to wear, a permanent roof on our head to protect us from all types of weather we are luckier than 50% of the world’s population! So, need I give you more reasons to feel yourself truly blessed? You are extremely lucky if you have friends and family to look after you. Just look around you there are so many people who sleep on the roadside, hungry and thirsty. There are kids who unlike our kids live unprotected lives earning their bread on their own; deprived of education. Be thankful to God for all His gifts. Stop taking things for granted which you have got without much pain.

Think Positively

Depression, stress, frustration are parts of today’s life. These ultimately lead to negative thinking. We often start feeling that we are the unlucky ones, born to suffer. To avoid this negative thinking, we must focus on the things that make us happy. For instance, spending time with our loved ones, pursuing a hobby, doing some social work whatever makes us feel our worth we must do that. Moreover, as I said earlier we are luckier than 50% of world population who are actually leading a miserable life. So, bring positivity in your life by seeing the brighter aspect of life.

Be Generous

So, now we know that we are the lucky ones to have got whatever we possess! What we need to do after this realization is being generous in sharing what we have. Things which are useless to us can be of great value to others. So donate generously your old clothes, shoes, home furnishing, toys, edibles whatever you can. You can donate your things to anyone who is in need; your poor relatives, friends, servants or anyone around you.

Be Honest to Yourself

Don’t ever lie to yourself. If you love something; admit and do it [provided it’s legal ;)] For example, if you love to listen to loud music or dance crazily do it whenever you can. Give due importance to your own space and enjoy it when you have it. When you are honest with yourself, you will be able to keep your promises to others too. It will increase your belief and esteem in yourself.

Have Pets

Having a pet is like having an unselfish and a loving friend by your side always. They don’t expect or complain about anything. They give you what you need the most- love! They bring happiness and positivity in your life by making you feel how important you are for them. Innocence and dedication of pets are incomparable. They make us smile even in the saddest days of our life.

Love Yourself

If you love yourself, only then you can love others. Self -respect and self-care are very essential. Look good, keep yourself fit, dress up well, put on a little make-up, carry right accessories and laugh a lot. These things gonna boost your self-confidence cheer you up always. Talk to your friends and family who bring positive vibes in your life. Have a positive self-image ’cause this same image gonna be reflected others. Enjoy going out and spending some time all alone.

Keep Your Surroundings Beautiful

If you live in a place which is messy, you start feeling low whether it’s your home or workplace. So, one very important though little, thing to feel good is keeping our place tidy and beautiful. Decorate your place the way you like, it surely gonna pep you up.

These little things definitely gonna bring some very positive changes in your life. So go ahead and enjoy all the shades of life and do make these little things a part of your life.
